You’ve tried Keto, Paleo, Plant-Based, and eating whatever you can (because you’re busy!). You’ve tried running, yoga, Zumba class, and strength training You’ve tried meditating (for about 5 seconds).
I’ve been there and done that. As my body changed during pre-menopause and menopause, I just couldn’t work out as hard as before, unless I could afford to nap daily! If I worked out hard, I was tired and hungry, and even if I was eating ‘right,’ the belly fat (that I’d never had before) didn’t go away. It was frustrating, disheartening, and downright irritating. I was determined to figure it out.
Figuring it out came in a totally unexpected way. It came from learning how our brains work, re-learning how to tune in to my body, and accepting myself. It came from Coaching.
Coaching taught me that the thoughts we constantly think lead to how we are feeling, and our feelings lead to our actions. Learning to be aware of and change my thoughts and feelings is a game changer! I now feel confident that I can manage food in my life, and content with the amazing body that I have. I want to help you do the same thing!
